The National Cybersecurity Protection Advancement (NCPA) Act
I am grateful of the work we accomplished last week in the Committee on Homeland Security as we unanimously passed H.R. 1731, the National Cybersecurity Protection Advancement Act and today in the House as we overwhelmingly passed NCPA with a vote of 355-63.
This vital legislation strengthens America’s cyber defenses as it provides a “safe harbor†to the private sector to share information with the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center. The NCPA also ensures that strong safeguards are in place to protect the privacy and civil liberties of all Americans.
