GRAHAM — U.S. Rep. Mark Walker, R-N.C., has added Alamance, Surry and Stokes counties to his listening tour.

Walker, who is serving his first term in office, will spend Thursday in Alamance County listening to area residents and meeting with local officials. He will hold a town hall meeting open to the public.

The town hall meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the historic courthouse, 1 Court Square, Graham.

Walker will tour Mebane Fire Station No. 3 at 1:30 p.m. and attend a reception and roundtable with Alamance County elected officials at 3 p.m. at the County Office Building.

He also will hold pre-scheduled constituent appointments at his Graham office, 219B W. Elm St., at 9:30 a.m.

Walker will visit all 10 counties in the 6th District and, according to a news release, “will discuss with residents how Congress can address the challenges facing their communities.”
