March 6, 2018 Press Release
"It is evident there are abuses going on in our FISA court and the surveillance of American citizens. Chairman Gowdy and Chairman Goodlatte are right to call for a special counsel to investigate potential violations of our essential Fourth Amendment protection. Oversight and review is needed to ensure the protection of Americans’ civil liberties and to stop disregard for our Constitution."

"North Carolina was blessed to have the leadership of Howard Coble in Congress for thirty years, but we were even more blessed to call him a friend and mentor. During his time in Washington, Congressman Coble demonstrated that tone, approach, and a heart of service still matter in our political discourse. After being a staple of our community for decades, it is fitting that we have this permanent reminder of his service."

"Though I am proud of the success we have had in combatting human trafficking, we must do more to ensure that this moral injustice ends and that perpetrators see prosecution. For too long, sites like Backpage.com have facilitated the exploitation of young women and children for their own financial profit, and have done so using a loophole in a bill passed in 1934."

Graham’s remains will be brought to the United States Capitol on Wednesday, February 28, where he will lie in honor in the Rotunda until Thursday, March 1
"Earning the titles ‘America’s Pastor’ and ‘North Carolina’s favorite son,’ a small-town pastor from North Carolina, who grew up on a dairy farm, preached the love and name of Jesus Christ. Never wavering, he changed the world – bringing thousands of lives to salvation and eternal life. For me, Rev. Graham will always be remembered for his focus on redemption and the idea that there is limitless hope, opportunity and freedom for every human life."
